Our Lady of the Pillar (Nuestra Señora del Pilar)

The first and oldest Marian apparition, considered by some Catholics as unique because it happened while Mary was still alive, is Our Lady of the Pillar (Nuestra Señora del Pilar), traditionally dated to AD 40 in Zaragoza, Spain, where the Virgin Mary appeared to the Apostle James the Greater.
