Today, February 19, 2026 as I attended Mass in loving remembrance of my mother’s birthday, my heart returned to August 2, 2021—the day she passed into eternal life. What I experienced then was so profound and grace-filled that I feel called to share it with you now.

Do you believe in miracles? I do.
Today, a woman stopped by my office. During our conversation, she was drawn to two images on my desk—one of Our Lady of Lourdes with Saint Bernadette, and another of Saint Bernadette alone. She quietly said, “I was in Lourdes… and I received a miracle from Our Lady.” She shared the details, which I will keep in my heart. Moved by that unexpected moment and the trust we shared as strangers, I gave her the two prints. In my heart, I felt Our Lady had arranged the encounter. I shared with her my mother’s story.
Later that day, I received a gift. The small blue box was presented in such a humble way, and when I opened it, I was deeply touched—a delicate and beautiful miniature image of Our Lady of Lourdes with Saint Bernadette. No words were needed; the gift itself spoke of thoughtfulness and care. And as if that were not enough, a friend stopped by unexpectedly and brought me a votive candle with the loveliest fragrance, presented in a simple white gift box tied with a deep red ribbon.
On my mother’s birthday, I felt surrounded by tenderness. God showered me with love.
Thank You, God, for loving me. I am nothing without Your love. And thank you, my Heavenly Mother, for the gift of your intercession.
